Pedro Maciel has litigation, trial and appellate experience in a wide variety of corporate, commercial, and securities litigation and arbitration. Pedro has served as litigation and arbitration counsel for a number of foreign and Brazilian business entities in federal and state courts through out the country. Pedro has handled cases which covered a broad range of commercial disputes, including shareholder derivative suits, telecommunications, patent litigation, and which have involved such diverse industries as banking, energy, telecommunication, entertainment and mining. Pedro has arbitrated complex corporate and commercial disputes under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and the Brazilian Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

During 1999 and 2000, Pedro joined the international practice group of Alston & Bird in Atlanta as an international associate.
