Professional Experience

Luiz Guilherme Migliora is the National Coordinator of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Luiz G. Migliora is the chair of the firm's litigation group and has in the past ten years been involved in complex individual and collective product liability and labor cases representing different clients. He is the lead trial lawyer representing Philip Morris in tobacco litigation in Brazil and has in the last ten years received only one plaintiff verdict in the cases tried. This verdict is being challenged in an appeal to the Rio de Janeiro Court of Appeals.

Luiz G. Migliora is also one of the heads of the labor and employment practice group of the firm and has in the past twenty years represented local and multinational companies in a variety of labor and employment matters, including highly complex litigation always representing the defendants in claims brought by employees, unions and public prosecutors.

Veirano Advogados, and its team, are the Brazilian representative for the global alliance Ius Laboris, which gathers leading law offices in labor, benefit, immigration and retirement advisory - capable of dealing will all legal topics associated with Human Resources.
