Social Responsibility

Being socially responsible implies transforming all the values we hold into a day-to-day practice that guides our attitudes in each one of the relationships we develop. Our business is centered on offering legal advisory services with excellence, while serving our clients ethically and transparently. Nonetheless, our purpose goes beyond this.

It is our aim to strengthen Brazilian society, through actions linked to culture and education, involving our professionals in volunteer activities, awakening and supporting initiatives seeking the development of other people, supporting and assisting in our country's growth.

Pro bono advocacy is encouraged internally, as it gives us the opportunity to help and to grow, personally and professionally.

 

  ABRACE
All the paper, recyclable, used in our São Paulo office, is donated to this institution, which aims at giving teenagers from low-income families a chance to play an active and worthy role in society.
  Camp Mangueira
The socio-educational project Mangueira Camp, part of the Mangueira Social Program in the city of Rio de Janeiro, is active in the professional and personal qualification of teenagers. The Mangueira Camp sends teenagers to companies as apprentices, qualifying them for development, professional skills, critical awareness, citizenship and culture.
 

Pedreira Educational and Social Center - CEAP
The CEAP helps young guys aged 10 to 18 in the Pedreira neighborhood, in the city of São Paulo. The Educational Center is a school that offers technical courses and accompanies the needy youngsters throughout the whole course, seeking to qualify them as responsible citizens.
  Pro Bono Institute
Veirano Advogados has set up a partnership with the Pro Bono Institute - IPB, with a view to developing Pro Bono work in our firm, strengthening the activity of voluntary advocacy. The IPB played a fundamental role in regulating the activity of pro bono legal work in the State of São Paulo and is now working to have this regulation extended to the rest of the country.
Brazilian Symphony Orchestra
Veirano Advogados is the official law firm of the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra - OSB, providing pro bono law services on all legal matters that involve the OSB.

Accompanying the pregnancy of staff and spouses at our firm, providing quarterly information on each new gestation period.
Legal Assistance Program
Our attorneys provide legal assistance free-of-charge to the staff.

 

Recycling
The partnership between Veirano Advogados and the Reciclar Institute offers opportunities for youth 18 years and older and residents of the city of São Paulo to enter the job market through the First Job project. The youth selected by the Reciclar Institute are sent to other companies, contributing to their professional and social training.
  Albert Einstein Israeli Society
The Einstein Program in the Paraisópolis Community provides 10,000 children with medical attention, with an outpatients clinic set up inside the community, along with socio-educational actions, free-of-charge to the population.
